Neverland: An Absurd Adaptation

In this fast-paced and funny adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic, the Lost Boys are reading Kafka, the Mermaids are itching to drown someone, and Wendy is ready to school all of Neverland in treating girls with respect.
When Peter brings the Darling children to Neverland, the Lost Boys are thankful for a break from Tootles’ dreadful book club, but skeptical of a girl in their midst. Meanwhile Hook sees it as the perfect opportunity to finally get revenge on Peter Pan. When the pirates catch the children unawares at the Mermaid Lagoon, the Darlings, the Lost Boys, and the Mermaids have to fight them off, with a little help from a ticking crocodile.
This play was first produced at the Park District of Oak Park’s SCAW Camp in 2022. It is not currently available to license.
A Freaky Fairytale

Think fairytales are too predictable? With one unlocked tower door, this story’s narrator turns everything you know on its head.
When the princess they thought was safely locked away escapes, the villain is forced to lock up a prince instead. And no one really likes the prince — after all, he’s the one who paid the villain to capture the princess in the first place! Which means it’s up to the princess to rescue him, alongside her band of mixed-up, maligned, and downright disappointing fairytale friends. Can these misfits save the day, despite it all?

Dungeon Quest!

This Dungeons & Dragons spoof is a love letter to the power of average nerds everywhere.
Eilkrana, Melmor, Rugzan, and Robbie are a heroic band of adventurers ready to fight danger at every turn. They’re also a group of nerds playing Dungeons & Dragons, guided by their trusty Dungeon Master Stuart. Can they defeat the mighty cyclops? Will their rolls lead them to success or failure? And most importantly, will they finish before it’s time to get the frozen pizza out of the oven?
